ЛИТЕРАТУРНЫЙ ДИАЛОГ ФРЭНСИСА И ЗЕЛЬДЫ ФИЦДЖЕРАЛЬД («НОЧЬ НЕЖНА» - «СПАСИ МЕНЯ, ВАЛЬС»)

Abstract

В статье предложен анализ диалога романов Фрэнсиса и Зельды Фицджеральд «Ночь нежна» и «Спаси меня, вальс», позволяющий познакомить читателя с обликом «века джаза» в американской литературе 1930-х годов. Сравнение и сопоставление двух гендерных позиций на основе общего биографического опыта супругов Фицджеральд позволяют увидеть объемную картину происходящего того времени. Выбор названия и сюжета, особенностей портрета и характера персонажей, схожая оценка проблем времени, - все это дает возможность говорить о влиянии авторов друг на друга.

The article provides the analysis of the dialogue between Francis and Zelda Fitzgerald’s novels «Tender is the Night» and «Save Me the Waltz «, giving the opportunity to acquaint the reader with «The Jazz Age» in the American literature of the 1930ies. The comparison and contrast of two gender positions on the basis of the biographical experience of spouses Fitzgerald allows seeing what is happening in that period. The choice of the title and the plot, the features of the portrait and heroes' character, the similar assessment of the problems of their time - all this allows us to speak about the influence of these authors on each other.
