Theoretical and experimental optimization of vibro-acoustic parameters of MKSM-800 loader
Taratorkin A. I.; Taratorkin I. A.; Trusevich I. A.
This paper presents the results of a theoretical and experimental study of the vibro-acoustic radiation of the mini loader (MKSM-800), and analyzes the variant of reducing the noise level both of the loader on the whole and of its specific structural components. It estimates the vibro-acoustic activity of an internal combustion engine (ICE), including the cooling system, and the left and right side reduction gear. On the basis of the dynamic analysis of the mechanical system structures, the most dangerous forms of oscillations are determined, they contribute to the integral level of acoustic radiation most of all. This waveshape damping is achieved by targeted ribbing of the structural components of the reduction gear, as well as by reducing the vibroactivity of the excitation source by increasing the precision degree in gear manufacturing. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Substantiation of the trajectory planning algorithm for unmanned tracked vehicle
Derzhansky V. B.; Taratorkin I. A.; Yakovlev A. G.
Mobility operation of an unmanned transport vehicle (UTV) when operating on rough terrain is a difficult task. The most difficult is the problem of the tracked UTV motion. Simplification of the controlled motion simulation, ambiguity of the track-terrain interaction parameters, the random nature of external impacts lead to fuzziness of the status parameters of the UTV as a controlled object. The article proposes a method for trajectory planning of the UTV motion, taking into account the nonholonomic nature of the track-terrain interaction. Within this objective, three aspects of the research stand out sharply. First, refinement of the tracked vehicle mathematical model. Secondly, the Voronoi diagram method is the basis of the algorithm for motion trajectory planning. Thirdly, the parameters of interaction with the external environment, in particular, the dependences of the coefficient of resistance to side slip, being obtained in real time, allow us to synthesize a correcting matrix that provides for increased motion stability. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is planned to be assessed by UTV controlled motion simulation and during experimental investigations. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Estimation and ways of mechanical efficiency upgrading of planetary rotary hydraulic machines
Volkov G. Yu.; Smirnov V. V.; Mirchuk M. A.
Planetary rotary hydraulic machines (PRHM) with wavelike sun wheels and floating
satellite wheels have high technical characteristics but they are understudied. The article is
devoted to the estimation of energy efficiency of PRHM at the stage of their projecting.
Calculated formulas for the pump and hydraulic engine are offered. The comparative
estimation of schemes with the numbers of waves М×N: 2×2; 3×3; 4×4; 2×4; 4×6, has shown
efficiency values close to each other a little bit more than 0.9. The reserve for efficiency
upgrading for the considered hydraulic machines is the use of the teeth with half-round
convex-concave side surfaces.

Model Study of the Effect of Metal Filler Particles on Liquid Metal Temperature Distribution During Casting by Gasified Models
Nesterov N. V.; Vorontsov B. S.
A mathematical model is developed for calculating the temperature field established in liquid alloy after filling a lost foam casting mold when filler metal particles are placed in a expanded foam polystyrene model. The effect of a stepwise drop in temperature of the cast alloy caused by thermal destruction of foam polystyrene and heat exchange with filler particles is observed. The dependence of this effect on filler volume fraction in the area of its location and ratio of thermophysical properties of the basic alloy and filler material is established.
